Steven Rothberg

Founder and President, College Recruiter

Steven Rothberg is the president and founder of College Recruiter, which believes that every student and graduate deserves a great career. College Recruiter believes in creating a great candidate and recruiter experience. Its interactive media solutions connect students and grads to great careers.

In 1991, Rothberg founded the business which later morphed into College Recruiter. He now oversees employee engagement, business development, and strategic direction. He has been featured as a guest contributor on Mashable’s #BizChats Twitter chats, delivered numerous presentations at national conferences for the Society for Human Resource Management and the National Association of Colleges and Employers, and was named the 43rd most influential person online by Fast Company’s Influential Project.

Rothberg has also been featured in outlets such as the Associated Press, Business Week, Chicago Tribune, CNN.com, Fortune, and Wall Street Journal on topics ranging from career assessments to interactive recruiting and online marketing. Rothberg earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing – with honors – from the University of Manitoba, and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
